Imitation

Imitation, is an art. Yes it is. Whether it is in the form of mimicry or imitating a jewelery design or a painting of a master. All these require great skills ranging from observation to more observation and some more observation!

Not everyone can copy! It is important to get all the aspects of the object right.
From the voice to the stance
The swagger to the dance,
It ain't nothing
But the deep observation and not just a glance.
It requires paying utmost attention to the details, the minutest of details.
So how can it not be an art?

Back in 2011, I was placed in a small industrial township of Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a unit of the mining conglomerate Vedanta Resources Plc. Little did I know that life in BALCO township (situate in the town called Korba in the state of Chhattisgarh) would give me an insight like none other. As a fresh graduate lawyer, I was raring to go.
